ALTON, Mo. -- Ora Ellen Redus, 77, of Alton died Friday, Jan. 30, at
Shepherd's View Residential Care Facility at Alton.
Born at Warm Springs, she worked at Vitronic.
Survivors include, her husband, Willie Redus of Alton; four sons, Billy Redus of Maynard, Max Redus of Warm Springs and Dwight Redus and Delane Redus, both of Pocahontas; four daughters, Mary Hinkle of Trumann, Beverly Crawford of Alton and Leveda McCamey and Jean Watson, both of Pocahontas; one brother, James Griffin of Woodland, Wash.; two stepbrothers, Cledis McNew of Toledo, Wash., and Cecil McNew of Woodland; one sister, Sophia McNew of Farmington, Ky.; three stepsisters, JoAnn Fleury of Woodland, Ethel Tillman of Doniphan, Mo., and Evelyn Knoblock of Anderson, Ind.; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas, with Joe McDonald and Terry Miller officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery at Tucker, Mo.
Active pallbearers will be Terry Miller, Scott Miller, Leslie Redus, B.J. Redus, Brad Redus, Jason Redus, Kendal Redus, James Watson, Jeremy Watson and Chris Tyler.
Honorary pallbearers will include Vicki Miller, Sherry Griffin, Shelia Ingram, Angela Redus, Valerie Redus, Marla Beck, Melissa Lane, Pam Brown, Rachel Watson, Carrie Redus and Brandy Redus.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
